Born in 1961 in Yerevan, Armenia. From 1976 to 1980 studied sculpting at P. Terlemezyan Fine Arts College, and from 1980 to 1986 studied at the Yerevan State Fine Arts Institute.  From 1986 has participated in number of exhibitions organized by the Union of Artists in Yerevan and Gyumri (Armenia), as well as in Moscow (Russia), Panevezhis (Lithuania) and Khartoum (Sudan). In 1987 a group of young and talented artists create 3rd Floor group. Arshak participated in art shows with 3rd Floor group. Since 1990 is member of the Union of Artists of USSR. Arshak Nazaryan's works are in private collections in Modern Art Museums of Armenia and Medellin, Colombia, Museum of Ethnography, Sardarapat, Armenia, State Picture Gallery of Vanadzor,Armenia.Arshak Nazaryan resides and works in Los Angeles, California.
